Rohan Raj, a student of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. He attended the programme as a special invited participant, representing youth from Chhattisgarh.

This prestigious national-level event was organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and brought together selected young leaders from across the country. The programme was further highlighted by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose address inspired the participants.

For Rohan Raj, the experience was both proud and motivating. He described the dialogue as rich in ideas, youth energy, and meaningful discussions. Interacting with young leaders from different states helped him gain a broader understanding of leadership, public policy, and nation-building.

A Strong Example of Service and Leadership

Rohan Raj has been an active member of the National Service Scheme (NSS) since 2023. He has successfully completed two special seven-day NSS camps and has also participated in the National Unity Camp held in Gujarat.

On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel @150, he took part in a 150-kilometre foot march in Gujarat, spreading the message of unity and national service. In addition, he is an active member of the MY Bharat initiative from Bilaspur and has played an important role in several social activities, including district-level marches on Sardar Patel Jayanti.

Rohan Raj’s achievement is a matter of pride not only for his university but also for young people across the region. His selection clearly shows that dedication, service mindset, and skills enable youth to play a meaningful role in building the nation.
