Sentence Counter

The tool splits text using common sentence-ending punctuation marks: periods (.), exclamation points (!), and question marks (?). It ignores empty spaces between sentences.

Fewer, longer sentences can make text harder to read. Tracking your sentence count helps you ensure you are providing a good balance of short and long statements.

Standard simple counters may treat abbreviations as sentence ends. For best results, ensure your abbreviations are followed immediately by the intended name without extra spacing.
